About Us

About Us

Kia ora – welcome.

We are a welcoming Christian community of all ages and over 20 different nationalities, and we love the rich diversity this brings us.  We are committed to building a great community where every person feels they belong.

We want to help develop an authentic faith that recognises life is complex and at times challenging. We are passionate about being inter-generational because we believe this is the best way for our kids to develop their own faith.

We want to help people become effective in reaching out to others.   We believe we are called to serve the city that God has placed us in.

WHat We Believe

The church believes in:

  • The Bible as the inspired Word of God and its final authority in all matters of faith and practice
  • The pre-existence, eternal deity and true humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ
  • The atonement made on the cross by our Lord for the sin of the world
  • Salvation, by grace, through faith in Christ alone
  • The person of the Holy Spirit as the one who sanctifies and who sets apart, empowers andimparts spiritual gifts to the church
  • Membership of the church is for those who have received salvation
  • The immersion of believers as the only form of baptism practised in the church according to our understanding of Scripture
